Regional Cooperation Council in partnership Academy of Justice of Turkey have met on Wednesday, 5, October 2022, representatives of judicial training schools at the sixth meeting of the SEE Judicial Training Institutes Network.
Representatives of the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova also attended the event, which took place in a hybrid format in Istanbul,: Valentina Contescu, head of the Institutional Management Department, and Olga Marandici, head of the International Relations Unit.
During the meeting were discussed the importance of judicial training for a good regional cross-border cooperation, improvement access of and the quality of justice through training, professional development of future judges and prosecutors as well as those who are already in office, strengthening cooperation with international partners, etc.
Furthermore, was established and strengthening of cooperation direction to be followed during the coming year, were identified the most important issues and activities of common interest. At the same time, was presented the South-East Europe 2030 Strategy, whose key element is access to justice.
