The competition for the vacant position of Director of the National Institute of Justice: result of the interview

At the meeting of the Council of the National Institute of Justice that took place on Monday, December 9, 2024, the interview for the vacant position of Director of the National Institute of Justice was held.

At this stage the admitted candidates were Iuri Lealin and Ion Cojocari. After deliberation, neither candidate received the necessary number of votes to be appointed to the position. 

As a result, the NIJ Council has launched a new competition for the vacancy of the Director position of the NIJ. The announcement and the deadline for the submission of applications will be published soon on the Institute's website.

The competition for the position of Director was held in accordance with the Law no. 152-XVI of 08.06.2006 on the National Institute of Justice and the Regulation on the organization and conduct of the competition for the Director position of the National Institute of Justice.
