02. 09. 2020

Today, September 2, 2020, the National Institute of Justice has started the admission exams to the initial training courses for candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor.

Traditionally, the admission session is carried out in two stages: the electronic written test, consisting of the eliminatory psychological test, followed by a specialty test, and the oral test, which involves solving two cases that include issues of material and procedural law.

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and in order to comply with the authorities' recommendations on maintaining physical distance, the eliminatory psychological test will take place for three days. Competitors, divided into 14 small groups and equipped with protective masks, will be evaluated through the computer program. To pass this test, participants must obtain at least grade "five".

In the second stage of the written test - the specialty test - only the persons who will successfully pass the previous test will be admitted. According to the Calendar of the admission contest, it will take place between 9-11 and 14-16 of September, after the deadline for submission and examining the appeals has expired.

The results of the first stage of the written test will be posted on the NIJ website on Saturday, September 5, 2020.
