On November 11 and 12, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice, two seminars on developing skills in drafting judicial and procedural documents were organized. The activities respond directly to the recommendations of the TAIEX mission of 2022, which emphasizes the need to increase the quality of decision drafting and legal reasoning by incorporating this dimension into the initial training curriculum.

The development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in investigating, prosecuting, judging and combating chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) security cases of relevant authorities in the Republic of Moldova was the aim of two training sessions. Activities - Table Top Exercises and a workshop - took place on November 5-8, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice, as part of the pilot project "Strengthening the CBRN investigation, prosecution and adjudication capabilities of Moldova".

On November 6-7, 2024 an Autumn School on refugee protection took place. The continuous training activity, organized by the National Institute of Justice in partnership with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), was aimed to judges and representatives of the General Inspectorate for Migration in order to strengthen their professional knowledge and skills when examining asylum applications and ensuring that the principle of celerity is respected in these cases.

The international conference "Protecting the Human Rights of Displaced Persons: Current Challenges and Next Steps" took place in Chisinau on November 5-6, 2024. The event, organized under the auspices of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers, brought together representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova and other Council of Europe member states, diplomatic missions and international organizations, civil society activists and professionals in the field, as well as CoE experts.
