Cybersecurity Audit Report discussed at a working meeting at the NIJ

On Monday, 9 February 2026, a working meeting was held to present the cybersecurity audit report of the National Institute of Justice. The activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Strengthening Cyber Resilience in Critical Sectors of the Republic of Moldova”, financed by the Government of Japan and implemented by UNDP Moldova. The meeting brought together the NIJ team and representatives of partner organizations responsible for assessing the institution’s digital infrastructure.

During the meeting, the conclusions of the detailed assessment of the information systems managed by the Institute were presented, with an analysis of the current state of cybersecurity in relation to best practices in the field. The experts highlighted the need for technical interventions to mitigate the identified risks and vulnerabilities. One of the topics discussed concerned cooperation in the development and implementation of a set of cybersecurity policies for the National Institute of Justice, aligned both with the applicable legal framework and with international standards.
