On 17-18 October 2025, the team of the National Institute of Justice, members of the NIJ Council, NIJ trainers, and representatives of institutional partners participated in a co-creation workshop for the NIJ Institutional Development Strategy. The event was organized within the framework of the joint European Union and Council of Europe project “Support for Justice Reform in the Republic of Moldova”.
We extend our gratitude to the Council of Europe for its support and to the experts Andrea Annamaria Chiș, Letiția Lucescu, and Horatius Dumbravă for the way they guided participants through interactive activities and group discussions. The purpose of the workshop was to identify the NIJ’s core set of values – which serve as the foundation for the institution’s mission, vision, and strategy – and to define the strategic and operational objectives within the framework of the NIJ Development Strategy Project.
Through collaboration and exchange of ideas, participants analyzed the Institute’s strengths, key challenges, and future development priorities. The activities emphasized aligning the development objectives with fundamental European values and shaping the medium- and long-term vision of the National Institute of Justice.
