"Analytical thinking", a professional development course for a group of officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry

06. 06. 2022

The objective of the “Analytical Thinking” training was to develop skills on how to identify argumentation errors and cognitive dissonance in written and oral communication. The training was organized, on a fee basis, between 2-3 June 2022, by the National Institute of Justice on the request of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.

The participants - representatives of the Ministry - were trained by Diana Vrabie, NIJ trainer and trainer at the "Nicolae Dumitrescu" Academy. The agenda of the course included several topics as: critical thinking and constructive thought patterns, illusions and cognitive dissonances, reasoning skills and analyzing own errors. The training sessions were practical and with a complex approach of theoretical concepts alternated with real life examples.

We mention that the National Institute of Justice ensures the initial and continuous training on a contractual basis, in the cases settled by the legislation, providing training on the request of the institutions for professions related to the justice system.
