The National Institute of Justice’ trainees and team wanted to bring the smile on the faces of the abandoned children and to do all their best in order to improve the life quality for them.

Thus, on the eve of Children's Day, the future judges and prosecutors, but also NIJ representatives went to the orphanage from Carpineni village, Hancesti district. The children received with joy gifts, sweets, fruits, books, food and household products etc.

Also, the children participated to an interactive lecture on the topic of “Juvenile delinquency”, in the frame of which they have found out about types of deviation, crimes committed most often by minors, the age when the child becomes criminally liable.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first charity action conducted by the National Institute of Justice. During July-October 2016, the NIJ has collected funds in order to offer a financial support to the Carpineni orphanage. The campaign was initiated on the occasion of the tenth anniversary since the foundation of the NIJ and ended on the Lawyer's day when the children have visited the Institute. In the summer of 2017, the NIJ representatives have also visited the Carpineni orphanage.
