The end of November marks, internationally, a period dedicated to raising awareness on preventing gender-based violence. This year again, the National Institute of Justice joins the “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign. As a sign of solidarity, NIJ trainees decorated the institution’s courtyard trees with orange ribbons – a symbolic gesture reminding us of the importance of empathy, respect, responsibility, and support for those affected by violence.

The trainees of the National Institute of Justice, candidates for the positions of judge and prosecutor of the 19th cohort, participated on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, in a public lecture entitled “The European Public Prosecutor’s Office: a new actor in the European Judicial System”, delivered by Ms. Dana Manuela Ana, European Delegated Prosecutor within the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO).

La Institutul Național al Justiției a avut loc astăzi, 18 noiembrie 2025, seminarul de formare „Protecția intereselor financiare ale Uniunii Europene și rolul Parchetului European (EPPO)”, dedicat judecătorilor și procurorilor. Evenimentul a fost organizat de INJ și de Ambasada Franței în Republica Moldova. Un sprijin important pentru INJ, în realizarea acestei instruiri, a venit din partea Parchetului European.

To capitalize on the experience gained during their study visit to Bucharest, the trainees of the National Institute of Justice organized, on Monday, 17 November 2025, a knowledge-sharing session. The event, dedicated to colleagues recently admitted to the initial training course, offered a direct and practical perspective on Romania’s judicial system – a reference model in the process of aligning with European Union standards.

The National Institute of Justice will pilot the HELP e-course “Combatting Trafficking in Human Beings”, launched on Thursday, 13 November 2025, in partnership with the Council of Europe. The event marked the start of the training program, which has enrolled 81 participants, including judges, prosecutors, judicial assistants, court clerks, staff of courts and prosecutor’s offices, prosecutor’s consultants, state-guaranteed legal aid lawyers, and NIJ trainers.
