The National Institute of Justice marked today, October 21, 2024, the launch of the new training course for future judges and prosecutors. For 18 months, 30 trainees, including 12 candidates to the position of judge and 18 candidates to the position of prosecutor, will thereafter be eligible to take part in the recruitment competitions announced by the Superior Council of Magistrates and the Superior Council of Prosecutors.

Today, October 15, 2024, was held an online training for the internship conductors of the National Institute of Justice's trainees. The event was attended by the prosecuting officers who will coordinate the internship as well as future judges and prosecutors.

On October 10-11, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice was organized the thematic school on "Preventing and combating online sexual exploitation and abuse of children". The training sessions were attended by judges, prosecutors, criminal investigation officers and representatives of the General Directorate for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Chisinau municipality.

The Ad interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Adrian Cerbu, met on Thursday, October 10, 2024, with - Janine Baudach, project manager, and Victor Bufteac, anti-corruption and integrity policy advisor, representatives of the Project "Strengthening the rule of law and anti-corruption mechanisms in the Republic of Moldova", implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ). The meeting was also attended by Ecaterina Popa, Head of the Training and Research Directorate, and Tatiana Ciaglic, Head of the Legal Information Center.
