The National Institute of Justice has launched today, October 15, 2019, a new initial training course for candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor. For 18 months, 40 trainees will study at the only judicial training center in the country.

Thursday, October 10, 2019, the National Institute of Justice was visited by representatives of the Portuguese law system, Manuel Albano, National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings, Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Portugal, Rita Penedo, Director of the Observatory on Trafficking in Human Beings of the Ministry of Internal Administration of Portugal, and Mario Varela, Inspector of the Border and Migration Service of Portugal.

The National Institute of Justice, as a member of the Steering Committee of the Council of Europe project „Protecting children from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse in the Republic of Moldova” and represented by Ecaterina Popa, Head of the Training and Research Department, participated in the second meeting held on October 4, 2019.
