Several trainers from the National Institute of Justice participated, on 23-24 October 2025, in an online training course designed for potential certified tutors of the Council of Europe’s European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP).
Throughout the two-day course, participants became acquainted with the role of HELP tutors and the tools necessary for creating and managing e-learning courses on the HELP platform. The training covered topics such as adapting courses to the national legal framework, effective use of the e-learning platform, communication with participants, assessment and certification procedures, as well as ensuring the quality of the tutoring process.
The training sessions were delivered by Ana-Maria Telbis, Head of the HELP Programme; Tatiana Ciaglic, national HELP tutor and Head of the E-Learning Unit of the NIJ; and Oleg Chipric, senior specialist of the same unit.
Through this activity, the National Institute of Justice, in collaboration with the HELP Programme, strengthens the network of national tutors and contributes to expanding access to modern training opportunities based on the Council of Europe’s standards in the professional development of justice sector professionals.
