Today, October 3, 2019, in Chisinau, the first EECA Regional Judges’ Forum on HIV, Human Rights and the Law started its works. The event will last two days and will bring together judges, experts and representatives of the magistracy schools of Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Ukraine.
The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, received the visit, today, October 2, 2019, of Dr. Rosemary Kumwenda, UNDP Regional Team Leader on HIV, Health and Development (HHD) for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, John Macauley, UNDP Regional Programme Specialist on HIV, Health and Development, and Alexandru Cocirta, UNDP Moldova Program Coordinator. The meeting was attended also by Valentina Contescu, Head of the Institutional Management Department of the NIJ.
The representatives of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioală, Director, and Ecaterina Popa, Head of the Training and Research Department, participated in the works of the 9th edition of the Conference of the International Organization for Judicial Training (IOJT) with the generic "Judicial Training: A Key To Successful Transformation of The Judiciary”.
Today, September 2, 2019, at the National Institute of Justice, the admission exams to the initial training courses for candidates for the positions of judge and prosecutor have started.
The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, is attending the first edition of the International Academy of Rectors and Prorectors "Improving the efficiency of the university educational system and of the scientific research in the context of the interaction of the national education systems in the CIS countries".
