A group of prosecutors and judges specialized in investigating cases of trafficking in human beings (THB) participated, between November 30, 2022 and December 2, 2022, at the winter school “Strengthening the response of law enforcement bodies to the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings”.
The National Institute of Magistracy (INM) of Romania organized the seminar “Digital Training Tools / E-tools”, attended by the Head of the Legal Information Center, NIJ trainer, Tatiana Ciaglic, thanks to the project ”Strengthening the justice system by organizing expertise transfer missions addressed to judges and prosecutors from the Republic of Moldova”.
The National Institute of Justice hosted the event “Access to justice for women victims and survivors of gender violence”. The action to raise public awareness on preventing violence against women and girls took place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the context of the international campaign "16 days of Activism against Gender-based Violence".
The National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova and the National Institute of Magistracy of Romania continue the implementation of the project “Strengthening the justice system by organizing expertise transfer missions addressed to judges and prosecutors of the Republic of Moldova”. The third study visit of the representatives of the national law system was organized and took place in Bucharest, Romania, November 23-25, 2022.
On Friday, November 25, 2022, the first module dedicated to the ECtHR case-law of the electronic course “Electoral dispute Resolution” was launched. The module was developed within the framework of the Council of Europe project “Improving electoral practice in the Republic of Moldova, Phase II” in cooperation with the National Institute of Justice, the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova and the Center for Continuous Electoral Training.
