The evaluation team of the scientific journals from Index Copernicus International announces that the Journal of the National Institute of Justice (ISSN: 1857-2405) has successfully passed the multidimensional evaluation process and is indexed in the ICI Journals Master List 2019.

In the context of the international campaign "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence", the National Institute of Justice organized on Monday, December 7, 2020, a public lesson for future judges and prosecutors. The lecture, held online, was given by Arina Turcan, lawyer of the Women's Law Center (CDF), NIJ trainer, and aimed to raise awareness among participants on the issue of violence against women.

The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, has participated in the international conference "70 years of the ECHR, 25 years since the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the Council of Europe - implementation of CoE standards at the national level". The National Institute of Justice joins the international campaign "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence", initiated by the Women's Global Leadership Institute in 1991 to promote the elimination of all forms of violence against women. Domestic violence is a much more widespread phenomenon than surveys show, as some cases are not even reported. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, last year, 69.2% of victims of domestic violence in the Republic of Moldova were women.
