On Monday, October 15, 2018, Diana Scobioala, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, and Valentina Contescu, the Advisor of the Director, had a meeting with the United States Department of State officials.
The official launch of a new initial training course took place on 15 October 2018 at the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). The new trainees will study for 18 months, after which they will have the right to candidate for the position of judge or prosecutor.

On Tuesday, October 9, the Regional conference on the Graz Recommendations on Access to Justice and National Minorities opened its sessions. The event took place on October 9 – 10, 2018, in Chisinau, and aimed to explore the current situation of national minorities in the Republic of Moldova from the perspective of their access to justice. The conference also served as a framework for the launch in our country of the Graz Recommendations on Access to Justice and National Minorities.
