On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice, took place the bilateral meeting between the Ad interim Director, Adrian Cerbu, and Lilja Grétarsdóttir, Head of Cooperation Programmes of the General Directorate for Human Rights of the Council of Europe.
In the afternoon of today, April 24, 2024, the National Institute of Justice was visited by students and masters of the law faculty of the State University of Moldova, who are also members of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA).
During April 23-24, 2024, the representatives of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) are on a working visit in Chisinau, to discuss further cooperation with the partner organizations in the Republic of Moldova.
A delegation of the National Institute of Justice, consisting of representatives from the NIJ, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Superior Council of Magistracy and the Law Center of Lawyers, were on a study visit to Malta in April 17-18, 2024, having a series of meetings at judicial and European institutions. The purpose of this visit was to initiate an exchange of experiences and best practices between the competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova and Malta, mainly in the field of migration and asylum.
On Monday, April 15, 2024, at the National Institute of Justice took place the meeting between the ad interim Director of the NIJ, Adrian Cerbu, and the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, Falk Lange, which was accompanied by Natia Japaridze, project manager, „Support to the Justice Reform in the Republic of Moldova”, and Ruslan Grebencea, senior project coordinator, project manager ,,Support to further modernisation of court management in the Republic of Moldova”.
