On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the ad interim Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ecaterina Popa, had a meeting with the management of the Private Educational Institution "Orizont" Theoretical High School from the Republic of Moldova - Domocos Szocos, General Director and educational advisor from the Educational Institutions "Lumina" from Romania, and Umit Oz, Deputy General Director, NIJ trainer.
At the National Institute of Justice, between November 6-9, 2023, is carried out the continuous training course entitled "Online cybercrime investigation". The seminar is organized as part of the Criminal Justice Reform and Anti-Corruption Support Program, implemented by ABA ROLI Moldova, with the financial support of the Office for Combating Drug Trafficking and Law Enforcement of the US State Department.
On Monday, October 30, 2023, members of the Council of the National Institute of Justice met to discuss some issues related to the activity of the NIJ. One of the important topics addressed at the meeting was the approval of the admission exam results and the lists of candidates for the initial training of candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor.
In the context of the national campaign „Week of combating trafficking in human beings”, Friday, October 20, at the National Institute of Justice took place a mock trial on the state's response to cases of trafficking in human beings from the perspective of fairness and the focus of the criminal process on the victim.
