Today, March 12, 2019, at the National Institute of Justice the graduation exams for the candidates to the positions of judge and prosecutor have started. During 18 months, the future judges and prosecutors have developed efficient skills for the upcoming professional activity.
On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, had a meeting with US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Dereck J. Hogan, on the occasion of the launch of the course „Implementing the legislation on preventing and combating domestic violence”.
Around the 8th of March, at the National Institute of Justice was held the launch of a course support for the training of judges and prosecutors on “The implementation of legislation on preventing and combating domestic violence” (link).
The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Diana Scobioala, has met with Anca Sandescu, manager of the project "Women's Access to Justice: implementation of the Istanbul Convention and other European Standards for Gender Equality" on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
On Friday, March first, 2019, the General Assembly of the Judges of the Republic of Moldova was held. At the event, which brought together judges, state officials, representatives of civil society and the media, also participated the Director of the National Institute of Justice.
