The project “Strengthening the justice system by organizing expertise transfer missions addressed to judges and prosecutors of the Republic of Moldova”, implemented by the National Institute of Magistracy (NIM) of Romania and the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova, has reached the final phase. On December 12 and 13, 2022, the last training activities of the Project’ component III took place, and these involved inviting of Romanian trainers as experts to the trainings for the NIJ beneficiaries.

Proiectul „Consolidarea sistemului de justiție prin organizarea unor misiuni de transfer de expertiză adresate judecătorilor și procurorilor din Republica Moldova”, implementat de Institutul Național al Magistraturii (INM) din România și Institutul Național al Justiției din Republica Moldova, a ajuns la faza finală. Pe 12 și 13 decembrie 2022, au avut loc ultimele activități de formare din cadrul componentei III a proiectului, care a presupus invitarea în calitate de experți a formatorilor români la instruirile destinate beneficiarilor INJ.

On Friday, December 9, 2022, representatives of the National Institute of Justice, Ecaterina Popa, ad interim director, and Tatiana Ciaglic, head of the legal information Center, participated in the mid-term meeting of the CoE Project Steering Committee “Supporting the implementation of the Istanbul Convention in the Republic of Moldova”.

Vineri, 9 decembrie 2022, reprezentanții Institutului Național al Justiției, Ecaterina Popa, Directoare interimară, și Tatiana Ciaglic, șefa Centrului de Informații Juridice, au participat la reuniunea intermediară a Comitetului de Coordonare a proiectului CoE „Sprijin în implementarea Convenției de la Istanbul în Republica Moldova”.

The trainees of the National Institute of Justice, together with students from the State University of Moldova, the Academy “Stefan cel Mare” and the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts, simulated a mock trial of a civil case on the application of protection measures for victims of domestic violence.

In order to deepen the knowledge in the field of legislation on combating extremism, racism, discrimination and anti-Semitism, the beneficiaries of the National Institute of Justice had the opportunity to participate in a training “Anti-Semitism and the Holocaust – history, memory and legislation”, organized by the National Institute of Magistracy of Romania.
